PACKAGE: BLUE HOLE FREEDIVING GEAR
Description
The primary attribute of freediving gear is hydrodynamic efficiency. Wetsuits are made of "open cell" material which allows the suit to collapse with increasing depth. Fins are very long and flexible. Masks are "low volume," meaning there is little space between the glass and the diver's face.
Our freediving bundle includes wetsuits that are generally separates with a 5mm pull-over jacket and pants. Separates like these are common among freedivers. It also allows renters to select separates of different sizes.
Freediving fins are worn without booties. Many divers wear neoprene or lycra dive socks to add warmth and protect their feet.
Freediving masks are not designed for maximum visibility. Instead the design accommodates swift descent and ascent through the water.
