Scuba Demonstration Gear

While we rent gear used for a variety of water sports, this category is just for scuba divers! Certified divers or open water students can rent standard fare or demonstration gear for days or weeks. We offer package pricing for both standard and demonstration gear.

Rent individual items or rent as a package for a lower cost.

Scuba Snorkel System

Generally, the snorkeling system used by scuba divers includes a scuba mask, snorkel, scuba booties, and scuba fins. Often these are the first purchases made by a new diver. As a package these items are rented at a reduced price.

Gear for Kids

Much of the equipment used by adults come in sizes for kids - short or tall - children or young teens. While your young divers or snorkelers are still growing, maybe it makes more sense to rent? Our rental gear for our younger customers is of the same high quality as the gear we rent and sell to adults. When you are ready to buy, just apply the rental price of the last item rented to a like purchase.

Snorkeling

Snorkelers use masks, snorkels and fins. Most add booties and a wetsuit. You can rent one or all of these items. Denver Divers offers a variety of packages targeted at your specific needs. Best of all, rental customers can apply the cost of each item rented to the purchase of a like item.

Freediving

Freedivers use masks, snorkels and fins. Their gear is streamlined for more hydrodynamic movement through the water. That means low volume masks and long slender fins. Freediving wetsuits are open cell neoprene designed to become more compact the deeper the diver descends. You can rent one or all of these items at Denver Divers.

Other Water Sports

To make sure we support inland water fun, we rent Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP); life jackets for both kids and grown-ups; and open-cell triathalon wetsuits. Regular closed cell neoprene exposure wear can be used for rafting, canyoneering, and cold water swimming.

Gear for Certification Dives

Of the four primary ways that Denver Divers' students perform their certification dives, three rely on rental gear from Denver Divers. If the student does certification dives on a trip with Denver Divers, the certification dives and the necessary gear for the duration of the trip is $175. If the student chooses to go to Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, basic gear including BCD, regulator. and exposure wear is $50 for the weekend. If the student has not purchased her own fins and booties, she can rent them from Denver Divers for an additional $21.40. A mask and snorkel is another $21.40 for the long weekend. Homestead Crater certification dive gear is included in the cost of the certification dives. Students do, however, still get their gear from Denver Divers.
